FIRE AT MISS MAUDIE’S
(House on fire)
It was late at night when Scout and Jem were woken because of the fire. It started in the house of Miss Maudie and started to spread throughout the neighborhood. As the fire was raging, most of the neighbors helped to get the people out of the houses, and retrieve all of the items that were not burnt.
The picture above relates to this scene because the house is on fire and the person that lives in the house was jumping out just as Mr. Avery jumped out of his house.
